Allie turned 3 this month! We had a combined birthday party for her and her friend Betty. I thought it was pretty funny that we were having a tea party for 4 little girls named, Allie, Betty, Elsie and Isabel. It sounded like we should be playing bingo with 70 year old women.
We started the morning with a suprise from Grandma Lindy, Tea sets for both of the girls.
Allie was really excited to get in her princess dress for the party.
She was even more excited about the pink oreos we had bought earlier that week.
Sweet sisters
They played kiss the frog, with lipgloss. Instead of pin the tail on the donkey.
We put milk in the teapots and chocolate and strawberry milk powder for them to scoop and stir. It was a huge hit.
Birthday girls, Allie and Betty.
After the party was over she promptly settled onto the couch to enjoy a sippy cup of milk, a candy necklace and her new Max and Ruby movie! For Allie nothing could be better! It was such a fun little party, I think we will just do the same thing for Cami in January.
Just a little bit about Allie at 3- She is such a character. She makes us laugh every day. If you ask how old she is, she will say umm, I four. She will also tell you her name is Allie Doc Halling. aka Allie Dawn Halling. Tommy loves her. She can make him laugh so easily and she gladly helps me when he is fussing and I'm trying to finish something.
She drives Cami nuts. They argue about things all the time. I can hear Allie in the other room saying uhhh-huuhhhhh, and Cami yelling nuhh-uhhhh, over and over. They are also best of friends and play make believe every waking moment.
She loves to be a princess, usually pocahontas. She hates to have her hair done. She loves shoes. She loves rocks and I always find them in her pockets. She also loves leaves and crunches them up everywhere. She is great at coloring and puzzles and will do both for hours.
She doesn't cry at nursery anymore and proudly claims she is a big girl. She likes to say and do naughty things, like saying poop and sticking her tongue out. But, if she gets scolded, she immediately says "Oh, sorry mama." She loves all things sugar. She will tell you her favorite foods are cereal, candy and chocolate milk and it's true. Any healthy item that gets swallowed by her is a triumph. She is mischevious, curious and absolutely silly. She is a joy in our family and we love everything about our little Allie Cat!
