P is for Princess

We had a P is for princess week in mommy school a few weeks ago. It was a request by Cami and they loved it.
These are their princess castles. Allie wanted a black one because it was the closest thing we had to purple. When I said the word tower, she insisted we find her Rapunzel doll. This craft turned into the favorite play thing for the week when we added our princes and princesses.
Cami said Allie's castle was evil...haha. She choose yellow and had a lot of fun with her glitter glue.
We made some jewelry too. We squirted elmers glue into shapes on wax paper and then coated them with glitter. In a few days they were dry enough to peel off and make necklaces out of. We could easily do alot more of these. They loved them.
We talked about being daughters of God, and this printable went along perfectly. To save on ink and for Allie in the future I put it in a page protector and used dry erase crayons. We love these! My mom made binders for the girls with friend coloring pages. They are great quiet church activities.

One of our favorite activities was acting out the princess and the pea. I read the book and we played a game where they had to sit on each pillow and guess which one the bouncy ball was under.

We got a couple different versions from the library but this was our favorite. It had a great emphasis on a real princess being kind to all and polite. A lot of the princess book we got from the library talked about being kind, polite and well mannered. It was a great focus for the week.

I try to get a little math in each week, here is our counting and coloring mattresses!
Here are my princesses. They both look so big to me in this picture..
