The Nutcracker

My mom invited us to go to The Nutcracker with her this month. The girls were so excited to wear fancy dresses. They each detailed how they wanted their hair done. 

Cami was of course very detailed and elaborate. She wanted a curly up-do with a braid and a flower. She also had to have one curl by her face. 

Allie just wanted a "Big bum," 

I was confused by this, but after some clarification I realized a bum is a bun! Easy

When Allie is feeling particularly pretty she always looks down for photo? She did it the entire time we were in Disneyland last year!

Before heading out, Allie put on Grandmas sunglasses. The combination of her pixie bangs, dark hair and bun made me think of a little Audrey Hepburn!

Her hair stayed up while we were making her "bum" she thought that was pretty funny. 

They were a little antsy during the first half of the ballet, but loved the cookie at intermission and seemed to really enjoy the more engaging 2nd half. They loved meeting the mice afterwards and their goody bags of milk and cookies.
